Press conference held for "SeeThrough" technique for minimally invasive brain imaging
BRI Assistant Professor Xinyi Liu and Professor Kazuki Tainaka (Dept of System Pathology for Neurological Disorders -Tainaka Lab), Associate Professor Motokazu Uchigashima and Professor Takayasu Mikuni (Dept of Cellular Neuropathology), together with RIKEN CBS Team Director Dr Masanori Murayama, have developed a skull-clearing technique called 'SeeThrough'. This technique enables high-resolution, minimally-invasive observation of the brain through the skull of living animals.
Regarding this technique, Profs Mikuni and Tainaka held a press conference on August 26, 2025.
