BRI delegation visits DANDRITE to strengthen collaboration
In June 2025, a delegation from BRI visited the Danish Research Institute of Translational Neuroscience (DANDRITE) at Aarhus University, Denmark. BRI has maintained a research exchange agreement with DANDRITE since 2019. The delegation included BRI Director and Prof Osamu Onodera (Dept of Neurology), Deputy Director and Prof Hideaki Matsui (Dept of Neuroscience of Disease), Prof Mari Tada (Dept of Pathology Neuroscience), Prof Hitoshi Shimada (Dept of Functional Neurology & Neurosurgery), and Specially Appointed Prof Kohta Yoshida (Dept of System Pathology for Neurological Disorders).
During the visit, each delegate presented their research findings at a symposium attended by researchers and students from Aarhus University. The delegation also engaged in in-depth discussions with DANDRITE's principal investigators, reviewing the progress of ongoing collaborations and exploring new opportunities for joint research, thereby further strengthening the research partnership and expanding professional networks.
Since signing of the memorandum of understanding in 2019, BRI and DANDRITE have fostered continuous exchange through collaborative research projects and mutual visits. This recent visit has paved the way for expanding the partnership and advancing future joint research initiatives.
Looking ahead, BRI remains dedicated to enhancing international research networks and promoting global scientific collaboration.
