A delegation from Hasanuddin University visits BRI

On April 19, 2024, a delegation from Hasanuddin University in Indonesia, with whom the Niigata University Faculty of Medicine has an exchange agreement, visited the NU Asahimachi Campus. They toured laboratories relevant to their research areas and also visited the University Hospital.

Dr Rina Masadah, Vice Dean of Hasanuddin University, paid a visit to BRI Prof Akiyoshi Kakita (Dept of Pathology), who gave a lab tour and exchange views with her.

Niigata University and Hasanuddin University initiated their partnership exchanges in 2019 as part of the Japan-ASEAN collaboration. This collaboration aims to train leaders capable of both practicing and researching developmental medicine of the mind at an internationally excellent standard.

BRI will keep committed to collaborating with diverse research institutions abroad and actively fostering exchanges among researchers to promote international collaboration and advance research development.
