BRI signs MOU with DANDRITE, Aarhus University

On November 25, 2019, BRI signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Danish Research Institute of Translational Neuroscience (DANDRITE), an interdisciplinary research institute hosted by Aarhus University, Denmark.

An MOU was signed by BRI director Prof Hiroyuki Nawa and DANDRITE director Prof Poul Nissen.

The signing ceremony was followed by a symposium for learning about research activities of both institutes. BRI researchers, Prof Nawa (Dept of Molecular Neurobiology), Prof Osamu Onodera (Dept of Neurology), Prof Toshikuni Sasaoka (Dept of Comparative & Experimental Medicine) and Prof Takayasu Mikuni (Dept of Cellular Neuropathology) presented their research. During the visit, the BRI delegates had an opportunity to look around facilities and labs of DANDRITE and Aarhus University as well as personal meetings with DANDRITE scientists.

Having developed a valuable relationship between BRI and DANDRITE regarding joint research projects in recent years, this MOU will further strengthen its partnerships in research. BRI will continue to promote exchange and cooperation in research.
