BRI Pathology departments complete relocation to "Brain and Life" Innovation Hub

The BRI Dept of Pathology and the Dept of Pathology Neuroscience have recently relocated to the new facility, the "Brain and Life" Innovation Hub (BIH). Throughout the relocation process, comprehensive measures were implemented to ensure the continued integrity, quality, and preservation of all brain bank tissue specimens.

As the Center for Human Brain Research Resource Initiative (ChBRI) moves forward, we remain committed to advancing scientific research through the responsible and effective use of these carefully maintained and invaluable resources.

The "Brain and Life" Innovation Hub (BIH): Established under a national program supporting industry-academia-government collaboration among regional research universities, the hub serves as an open innovation platform in health and life sciences, including the "Brain and Life" focus area within the Program for Forming Japan's Peak Research Universities (J-PEAKS).

Center for Human Brain Resource Initiative: A center dedicated to mobilizing brain resources to advance research and education, with the aim of promoting internationally competitive, cutting‑edge research, cultivating outstanding talent, and drive innovation.
