Harbin First Hospital delegation visits BRI

A delegation from Harbin The First Hospital (Heilongjiang, China) visited BRI Center for Integrated Human Brain Science on November 20, 2024.

During the visit, BRI Prof Hitoshi Shimada (Dept of Functional Neurology & Neurosurgery) provided the delegation with a guided tour of the PET and MRI facilities, highlighting their use in analyzing brain disease pathology through advanced imaging techniques.

Niigata City and Harbin City have maintained a friendship city affiliation since 1979. This visit was part of a medical exchange program between Niigata City General Hospital and Harbin The First Hospital.
