QST delegation visits BRI

On April 11, 2024, a delegation from the National Institutes for Quantum Science and Technology (QST), in collaboration with BRI, paid a visit to BRI.

The delegation was escorted to a pathology review meeting held in the brain cutting room, followed by an introductory presentation about BRI and the Brain Bank by Professor Akiyoshi Kakita (Dept of Pathology). Subsequently, the delegation embarked on a tour of the Brain Bank facility, where they observed the freezers storing fresh-frozen brains and the specimen room housing two million glass specimens.

BRI and QST remain committed to facilitating vibrant mutual exchanges and enhancing research collaboration.
