FY2023 BRI Endowed Research Branch Activity Report Meeting Held
The 2023 activity report meeting of the Advanced Treatment of Neurological Diseases Branch (BRI Endowed Research Branch), established through a collaboration between Niigata University and the NSG Group, convened on March 18, 2024, at the Hotel ItaliaKen (Chuo-ku, Niigata). The meeting showcased research accomplishments from April 1, 2023, and outlined activity and project plans for the forthcoming year.
The briefing session was led by BRI Deputy Director Prof Hideaki Matsui, and commenced with opening remarks from the NSG Group president Mr Shogo Ikeda and BRI Director Prof Osamu Onodera. Prof Makoto Oishi (Dept of Neurosurgery) presented the FY2023 activity report and outlined plans for FY2024. Additionally, Drs Tomohiko Ishihara and Manabu Natsumeda (Specially Appointed Associate Professors of the Advanced Treatment of Neurological Diseases Branch) shared their research outcomes. Dr Masatoyo Nishizawa, President of Niigata University of Health and Welfare, concluded with overarching remarks, expressing expectations for future endeavors.
BRI and the NSG Group are dedicated to advancing healthcare for future generations through the initiatives of the Advanced Treatment of Neurological Diseases Branch.
