Completion ceremony held for Niigata Junior Doctor Training School program
The completion ceremony for the Niigata Junior Doctor Training School AY2022 was held at the Yujin Memorial Hall, Niigata University School of Medicine on January 29, 2023. Kurara and Yuga, who are both 6th-graders and have been working on their scientific research projects for about 5 months under Prof Kazuki Tainaka (Dept of System Pathology for Neurological Disorders), attended the ceremony.
Last November, Yuga presented his research as a representative of the Niigata Junior Doctor Training School at the Science Conference 2022 hosted by Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST) and won a special award. He was given the commendation certificate from Prof Norikazu Ohtori, Dean of Niigata University Faculty of Science during the ceremony.
