BRI receives donation of Prof Mizuho Nakata's personal items

A pair of shoes owned by Dr Mizuho Nakata, the first director of Brain Research Institute, were donated by a friend of his. The sizes are 27.5cm. The black leather shoes are in good condition despite the fact that they are about 50 years old.

The attached note says,

"Dr Mizuho Nakata's favorite shoes, worn when he went to Nippon Gakushi-in, the Japan Academy.Spring 1976"

The shoes have gone on display at Mizuho Nakata memorial room located in the BRI Center for Integrated Human Brain Science Building.
