MEXT official visits BRI

On Thursday, February 14, 2019, Mr Hiroki Matsuo, Director-General, Science and Technology Policy Bureau, the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology visited Niigata University. Following delivering a lecture on science and technology policy at Ikarashi campus, Mr Matsuo visited BRI along with other facilities on Asahimachi campus.

BRI director Prof Nawa briefly gave him an overview of the institute, and deputy director Prof Kakita then showed him BRI resources such as frozen tissues in the -80ºC ultra-low temperature freezers, glass slides for optical microscope in the roller storages and a brain cutting room.
