Dr Kato wins Japan Society for Dementia Research Award

BRI Associate Professor Dr Taisuke Kato (Department of Molecular Neuroscience) has been honored with the Japan Society for Dementia Research Award at the 43rd Annual Meeting of the Japan Society for Dementia Research, held in Koriyama, Fukushima, from November 21 - 23, 2024.

Dr Kato received the award for his research article titled "Candesartan prevents arteriopathy progression in cerebral autosomal recessive arteriopathy with subcortical infarcts and leukoencephalopathy model." The award ceremony took place on November 22, where Dr Kato was presented with a commemorative plate in recognition of his achievement.
