Annual reception held to celebrate the institute's foundation

BRI hosted an annual reception celebrating the institute's foundation on Monday June 18, 2018.
Taking place every June, this reception is an excellent opportunity to network with peers across the institute.

About 160 BRI members gathered to celebrate the institute's foundation. The reception embraced remarks from Dr Hitoshi Takahashi, Vice President and Executive Director for Research, and Dr Toshiyuki Someya, Dean of School of Medicine, before proposing a toast by Professor Emeritus, Dr Fusahiro Ikuta.
Attendees made the most of the event to share food and drink and hear remarks from professors emeriti and brief introduction speeches from new staff.
