Dr Mitsuhashi wins Japan Neuroscience Society Young Investigator Award

BRI Assistant Professor Dr Yuka Mitsuhashi Koike (Dept of Molecular Neuroscience) has been honored with the Japan Neuroscience Society Young Investigator Award 2024.

The award is established with the objective of encouraging young researchers with notable research achievements who show promise of playing active roles in the field of neuroscience in the future. Dr Mitsuhashi Koike received this award for her research entitled "Molecular mechanisms linking loss of TDP-43 function to amyotrophic lateral sclerosis/frontotemporal dementia-related genes".

The award ceremony took place at the 47th Annual Meeting of the Japan Neuroscience Society in Fukuoka, from July 24 to 27, 2024.
