Dr Hatano wins basic research award on dementia

Dr Yuya Hatano
Dr Yuya Hatano (Part-time lecturer, Dept of Neurology) received the best basic research award at the Joint Conference of the 41st Annual Meeting of Japan Society for Dementia Research and the 37th Annual Meeting of Japanese Psychogeriatric Society (25 - 27 November, 2022).
This is a very prestigious award given to researchers who have made a significant contribution to the development of dementia research in the clinical and basic fields among their presentations at the annual meeting of Japan Society for Dementia Research.
■Dr Hatano's awarded research entitled, "Application of MOVA, a novel method for predicting genetic polymorphisms for pathogenicity, to EOAD-causal genes".
