Dr Hatano wins basic research award on dementia

Dr Yuya Hatano

Dr Yuya Hatano (Part-time lecturer, Dept of Neurology) received the best basic research award at the Joint Conference of the 41^st Annual Meeting of Japan Society for Dementia Research and the 37^th Annual Meeting of Japanese Psychogeriatric Society (25 - 27 November, 2022).

This is a very prestigious award given to researchers who have made a significant contribution to the development of dementia research in the clinical and basic fields among their presentations at the annual meeting of Japan Society for Dementia Research.

■Dr Hatano's awarded research entitled, "Application of MOVA, a novel method for predicting genetic polymorphisms for pathogenicity, to EOAD-causal genes".
