Welcome party

COVID was still awkward, so we held the welcome party in the seminar room with infection control. Masks came off only briefly for the photograph. We welcomed Ayman-san, Islam-san, Ishiguro-san, and Hirosawa-san on rotation. There were introductions of various cultures, and biryani made by Zannat-san; the lab is more international than ever. Nationality, age and gender are not skewed, and if we keep growing the lab could become a very good one. Welcome to BRI, Niigata University, and to the Matsui laboratory.
