People often ask what to watch if they are interested in research. I would answer, without hesitation, NHK Special “The Universe Within III: Genes,” DVDs 1–6, especially 4.

It is old. It is still far better than recent similar NHK medical specials. It may be on YouTube. You can feel a soul for life science.
