My interest in research began during medical school where, as a doctor, we treat individuals, but as researchers, we have the potential to discover treatments or solutions that benefit everyone globally; the brain remains an organ full of mysteries, and with the growing elderly population, neurodegenerative diseases are increasing, yet there is no optimal cure for these diseases, highlighting the many unknowns in their pathophysiology, which excites me to contribute towards solving this complex problem.
