The field of neuroscience has always struck me as being "enigmatic" since, despite years of research, very little is still understood about the entire story. The prevalence of neurodegeneration in today's population makes extensive research in this field crucial. Thus, by opting to pursue a Ph.D. degree in Neuroscience, I intend to contribute my part to the expanding body of knowledge that can one day, without a doubt, be used to combat these diseases.
