In their words
I am deeply interested in neuroscience, especially in Alzheimer's disease. During my clinical rotation in neurology, I witnessed many unforgettable cases and came to realize how limited the current treatment options are. That’s why I want to shift toward research. But my motivation is not only professional, it is also deeply personal. My grandmother was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s nine years ago. Watching her transform from a capable, outgoing person to someone silent and withdrawn was heartbreaking. This experience ignited my desire to understand this disease, to "dissect it layer by layer" and see what happens inside the brain. I want to make a small contribution to developing treatments for patients around the world who are suffering from neurodegenerative diseases.
