Chinese government officials visit BRI

A delegation from Department of International Cooperation, Ministry of Science and Technology, China, 4 members including a deputy director-general, visited Brain Research Institute on January 17, 2019.

This visit was arranged to promote international cooperation and personnel exchanges in the realm of advanced technology between China and Japan.

The delegation arrived at BRI subsequent to the University Ikarashi campus tour, got briefed on an overview of the institute from BRI director Prof Hiroyuki Nawa.

They were then led by Prof Takeshi Ikeuchi of Molecular Genetics (Center for Bioresource-based Researches) to look at the gene testing facility, followed by a tour to a magnetic resonance building at the Center for Integrated Human Brain Science guided by Prof Hironaka Igarashi.

They attentively listened to the explanations asking questions.
