Ahmed Aishath Zeeshanさんが参加しました。Zeeshanさんはモルジブの国費留学生（大使館推薦）で来日されたMDの学生です。モルジブ、観光地のイメージですが、どんなところなんでしょうね。モルジブ出身の方、そもそも日本に少ないと思うので不安だと思いますが、日本もまあ島国と言えば島国ですが、特に新潟はずいぶん雰囲気違うでしょうね、、、早く馴染んでくれると嬉しいです。

Ahmed Aishath Zeeshan-san has joined us. Zeeshan-san is an MD student who came to Japan as a government-sponsored scholarship student from the Maldives (embassy recommendation). When we think of the Maldives, many of us picture a tropical tourist destination, but I wonder what it’s really like to live there. There are probably very few people from the Maldives in Japan, so I imagine it might feel a bit isolating at times. Japan is also an island nation, but the atmosphere—especially here in Niigata—is quite different, I’m sure. I hope Zeeshan-san will feel at home here soon.
