Harbin First Hospital delegation visits BRI

A delegation from the Harbin First Hospital (Heilongjiang, China), 9 members including a deputy director, visited Brain Research Institute on October 17, 2018.
This visit was arranged as a part of the medical exchange program between Harbin First Hospital and Niigata City General Hospital. BRI Associate Professor Akinori Miyashita (Dept. of Molecular Genetics, Center for Bioresource-based Researches) gave the delegation a tour to the gene testing facility.

The delegation got briefed on an overview of BRI and research projects on dementia at the institute, followed by a tour of the facility to look at sequencers and laboratories for gene analysis, and the freezer for storing samples. They attentively listened to Dr Miyashita, asking questions and taking pictures.

BRI welcomed their visit, having an opportunity for introducing the institute.
