MEXT officials visit BRI

On Monday, October 23, 2017, four officials from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, including Mr. Yasuyoshi Kakita, Director of Budget and Accounts Division, Minister's Secretariat, visited Niigata University.
Following NU Ikarashi campus visit, the delegation came to BRI on Asahimachi campus.

BRI Director Prof. Nawa gave a brief introduction of the institute, and Deputy Director Prof. Kakita then showed them BRI resources such as frozen tissues in the -80ºC ultra-low temperature freezers, glass slides for optical microscope in the roller storages and a brain cutting room.
