Korean Brain Bank Network members visit BRI

On Wednesday September 27, 2017, professors and researchers from Korean Brain Bank Network visited BRI to learn brain resource management.

Prof. Kakita (Dept. of Pathology Neuroscience) introduced the delegation to a brain bank facility including an extensive collection of brains that BRI has long accumulated.
The group first got briefed on human brain tissue resource at BRI, followed by a facility tour, where they looked at ultra-low temperature freezers for frozen tissues, a brain cutting room and the preparation process of tissue resource.

Eagerly attentive audience of Korean neurologists and scientists, listening and inquiring to Prof. Kakita, showed the outpouring of passion for gaining a better understanding of brain resource management.
