BRI launches 6 interdisciplinary joint research projects

The interdisciplinary joint research projects with Brain Research Institute have been launched as "the innovative brain research promotion project with interdisciplinary approach".
The interdisciplinary joint research with BRI is designed to build new partnerships on brain research within Niigata University along with creating intramural innovations.

Following an open call for proposals, 6 out of 14 applications were selected through deliberate assessment process. The selected projects are:

A kick-off meeting for project leaders and BRI partners took place on Tuesday, September 12, 2017. The project leaders shared presentations on their own research plans, subsequent to written notice delivery.

The research projects are due to start on Friday, September 15, 2017.
