BRI opens up public lecture series

On Friday, October 6, 2017, BRI hosted the first lecture of Niigata University public lecture series, "the latest research for overcoming brain disease and mental illness" at a seminar hall in the Center for Integrated Human Brain Science, BRI.

The first talk by BRI director Prof. Hiroyuki Nawa (Dept. of Molecular Neurobiology) was about how brain works when auditory and visional hallucinations occur, and its relevance to mental illness.
Audience asked many questions and showed enthusiasm for learning.
