Dr. Kanazawa awarded JMA Medical Research Encouragement Prize

Dr. Masato Kanazawa (Assistant Professor, Dept. of Neurology) was awarded the Medical Research Encouragement Prize of the Japan Medical Association (JMA) on Wednesday, November 1, 2017.

The prize is given to the JMA members who engage in the research that has strong potential. Dr. Kanazawa has been recognized for his effort to the joint research on a cell therapy using microglia preconditioned by optimal oxygen-glucose deprivation.
