Dr. Matsui won the Japan Neuroscience Society Young Investigator Award 2016

Tenure-track Associate Professor Dr. Hideaki Matsui (Dept. of Neuroscience of disease, Center for Transdisciplinary Research) has been awarded the Japan Neuroscience Society Young Investigator Award 2016. This award is targeted towards young researchers who have obtained their PhD or equivalent degrees within the past 10 years and who have been active members of the Japan Neuroscience Society.

The award was announced to go to Dr. Matsui for his research on "From Fish to Human Neurological Disorders" along with his research achievements, plans and contributions. The ceremony was held during the 39th Annual Meeting of the Japan Neuroscience Society (Pacifico Yokohama, July 20 - 22, 2016).
